Day by Day

  • Day 1 - Arrival in Nairobi

    Morning/Afternoon: Upon your arrival in Nairobi, a Shiri Adventures representative will warmly greet you at the airport. After that, you will be transferred to the Sarova PanAfric for check-in, where you will also receive a welcome briefing about your exciting upcoming adventure.
    Evening: Later in the evening, you can enjoy a relaxed dinner at the hotel, which allows you to unwind and prepare for the thrilling experiences that lie ahead.
    Accommodation: Sarova PanAfrica

  • Day 2: Nairobi National Park

    Start your day with an early morning game drive in Nairobi National Park, where you can spot lions, giraffes, zebras, and rhinos against the stunning backdrop of the city skyline. After this exhilarating adventure, you will then visit the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, where you will have the opportunity to learn about elephant conservation and witness the adorable orphaned elephants up close. Furthermore, your day continues with a trip to the Giraffe Centre, where you will also have the chance to feed and interact with these magnificent creatures.

  • Day 3: Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

    Morning: Depart from Nairobi and fly to Masai Mara National Reserve. Upon arrival, you will reach Mara Sopa Lodge in time for a delicious lunch.
    Afternoon: Experience your first game drive in the Masai Mara, where you'll have the opportunity to spot the Big Five, along with cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and an array of birdlife.
    Furthermore, as the sun begins to set, prepare for breathtaking views of the landscape.
    Evening: Return to the lodge for a gourmet dinner and relaxation by the campfire, where you can share stories of your incredible day.

  • Day 4: Masai Mara National Reserve

    Early Morning: Begin the day with an exhilarating game drive in search of big cats or, alternatively, opt for a sunrise hot air balloon ride over the Mara, which offers breathtaking views of the savannah and wildlife below. (Note: The Balloon Safari is optional.)
    Morning: After landing, enjoy a delightful champagne breakfast in the bush, providing a refreshing start to your day.
    Late Morning/Afternoon: Continue with a game drive, focusing on different areas of the park to see lions, elephants, buffaloes, and, if you're fortunate, witness a predator hunt. In addition, your guide will share fascinating insights about the wildlife and ecosystems you encounter.
    Evening: Finally, relax back at the lodge with dinner and take in the beauty of the night sky while stargazing.

  • Day 5: Masai Mara to Diani Beach
