➔ You'll be collected from the airport. ➔ Accommodation before the tour starts can be arranged for an extra cost.
Day 1 - Arrival in Moshi
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you'll meet our Shiri Adventures representative for a transfer to your hotel. The hotel offers cozy rooms, hot water, friendly staff, a swimming pool, and internet access for a comfortable stay. In the evening, you'll have a briefing with your Kilimanjaro guides, who will ensure you are well-prepared for the climb ahead..
➔ Main Destination: Moshi (City) ➔ Accommodation: Panama Garden Resort ➔ Meals & Drinks: Meals at your own expense. Drinks not included.
Day 2 - Trekking From Machame Gate To Machame Camp
In the morning, your guides and mountain support crew will arrive at the hotel for a quick briefing. Afterward, you'll travel by vehicle to Machame Gate (1,800 m), the entrance to Kilimanjaro National Park. Once you complete the formalities of acquiring climbing permits and registering with the search and rescue service, the group will start trekking to Machame Camp (3,010 m). The route will take you through the rainforest, where tropical showers are likely, so be sure to pack spare clothes and raincoats.
Day 3 - Trekking From Machame Camp To Shira Camp
After breakfast, you'll trek to Shira Camp (3,845 m), where stunning views of the Shira Plateau await as you exit the rainforest. While the trek is manageable, pay attention to altitude effects and maintain a steady pace. Upon reaching Shira Camp, enjoy lunch and some rest before embarking on an acclimatization hike toward Lava Tower Camp, gaining 300 meters in altitude. After returning, you'll be served a hot dinner at Shira Camp
Day 4 - Trekking From Shira Camp To The Lava Tower and Descent To Barranco Camp
After breakfast, you'll leave Shira Camp (3,845 m) and head toward Lava Tower (4,630 m), a key point on your route. This section features multiple ascents and descents, culminating in a camp above 4,600 meters. While it may be challenging and uncomfortable, it's essential to spend 1–2 hours at this altitude for proper acclimatization, so lunch will be taken here. Afterward, you'll descend to Barranco Camp (3,960 m), where the impressive Barranco Wall awaits, renowned for its massive size and steepness, but don't worry—the next day’s ascent will follow an easy hiking traill.
Day 5 - Trekking From Barranco Camp To Barafu Camp
After an early breakfast, you'll start your climb of Barranco Wall, aiming to leave camp early to avoid crowds. This straightforward hike takes about an hour, offering photo opportunities in front of Kibo volcano. Next, you'll hike to Karanga Camp, which involves some challenging ascents and descents, but our guides will ensure a suitable pace. Upon arrival, enjoy a warm lunch before ascending to Barafu Camp (4,640 m), where a hot dinner awaits. It's essential to rest and prepare for the night summit
Day 6 - Ascent to Uhuru Peak and Descent to Millennium Camp
Departure from Barafu Camp (4,640 m) at night and the start of summiting Kilimanjaro: Uhuru Peak (5,895 m). Technically the climb is relatively simple; however, the most challenging part is the high altitude. Each pair of climbers will get a personal guide for the entire ascent to monitor your physical and mental conditions. After your successful ascent to Uhuru Peak, you can descend to the nearest glacier if desired. Then you will return to Barafu Camp and after a 2-hour rest continue your descent to Millennium Camp (3,820 m).
Day 7 - Descent from Millennium Camp to Mweka Gate
Waking up in the tropical rainforest, you'll feel relieved and satisfied after reaching the summit. After a warm breakfast, you’ll head to Mweka Gate (1,640 m) to exit the park. The group will gather to celebrate your achievement, followed by the opportunity to share your thoughts in the guestbook. Finally, you'll receive your commemorative certificate in our office before a transfer back to the hotel

7 Day Safari - Trip of a Lifetime
I did a 7 day safari with Shiri Adventures and it was incredible. Full disclosure, I did get mine severely discounted as we worked together on content creation/promotion, but I can honestly say I would have absolutely paid full price to do it.Our guide Laurent was amazing. Linus, the Managing Director, is a godsend and helped us with some issues that popped up right before we left as well as answering every little question we had along the way. This trip was the time of our lives (me and my husband went for our honeymoon). I couldn't recommend it enough, and I found Shiri to be very reasonable in cost compared to many other safaris at this level. And we saw the big 5! I'm telling you, our guide had supervision. 10/10 would recommend Shiri Adventures.

7 Day Safari Experience
Shiri Adventures made the whole safari a breeze! We got to see so many animals and different national parks over our 7 day safari. And with the help of our guide we were able to spot and see the all of the big 5 animals (lions, elephants, leopards, water buffalo & rhinos)! We got a discounted experience via my wife, but I would pay full price any day. It was amazing!

BEST Guide Company In Tanzania
Linus and his crew were all over the tiny details that made each excursion we want on amazing. Did the 3-day safari, Materuni Falls & coffee tour, and visited the Chemka hot springs. Everything was well planned out and communication from Linus was impeccable. Highly recommend this company and will use them again if I ever find myself back in Eastern Africa!

My Kilimanjaro hike
I had a wonderful experience with the team at Shiri, Linus provided such a wonderful team that played a very huge role in helping us summit Uhuru peak. The team was organised and professional and made the 6 day hike a very memorable one for me and for the friends I made on the hike.

6 day Marangu Route Kilimanjaro
Absolutely wonderful from start to finish! My friends and climbed Mount Kilimanjaro via the Marangu route with Shiri Adventures, and Linus and his staff delivered an amazing experience. There were 4 of us in our group and we all had limited hiking experience, but we all made it to the summit with the help of our amazing guides Yaki and Bryson, along with the porters. After we finished, they had beers, champagne and a bus waiting for us at the gate. I have traveled quit a bit and I can say I’ve never had a better experience anywhere. If I ever go back to Tanzania I will hire Linus and Shiri Adventures to handle it. I wish I could do more than write a review. I highly highly highly recommend using Linus and Shiri Adventures for your Kilimanjaro trek or safari. Thanks again to Linus, Yaki, Bryson and everyone else, you made our trip happen and delivered a once in a lifetime experience!!

Highly recommend using Shiri Adventures.
We went on a three-day safari with Shiri as well as a day trip to Materuni Falls and Coffee Plantation and Chemka Hot Springs. I can't say enough good things about how helpful Linus and his staff were before, during, and after our trip. Everyone was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and made sure we were enjoying our trip. Our accommodations and food exceeded expectations. If you're planning a trip to Tanzania, I would highly recommend booking your adventures with Shiri.

Best Safari!
Me and my wife spend our honeymoon on safari (Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire and Manyara) with Shiri Adventures and I can say that it was the best experience! We didn't have a single complaint. From communication with mr. Linus, who responded quickly to all our questions and concerns (via WhatsApp or email), to the entire organization of Safari, transfers to airport, luxury lodges in national parks… Also, on our safari jeep they put our wedding photo - nice personal touch :)Our guide (mr. Ibra) was an exceptional at finding animals that we could see from a distance of only a few meters! He taught us about animals, their behavior and the habitats they live in, about the natives Maasai (which we also visited), about land Africa and Tanzania... Really experienced guide! We would recommend Shiri Adventures 10/10. These guys are on another level! :)
