  • Day 1 - Arrival in Moshi

    Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you'll meet our Shiri Adventures representative for a transfer to your hotel. The hotel offers cozy rooms, hot water, friendly staff, a swimming pool, and internet access for a comfortable stay. In the evening, you'll have a briefing with your Kilimanjaro guides, who will ensure you are well-prepared for the climb ahead..

  • Day 2 - Trekking From Machame Gate To Machame Camp

    In the morning, your guides and mountain support crew will arrive at the hotel for a quick briefing. Afterward, you'll travel by vehicle to Machame Gate (1,800 m), the entrance to Kilimanjaro National Park. Once you complete the formalities of acquiring climbing permits and registering with the search and rescue service, the group will start trekking to Machame Camp (3,010 m). The route will take you through the rainforest, where tropical showers are likely, so be sure to pack spare clothes and raincoats.

  • Day 3 - Trekking From Machame Camp To Shira Camp

    After breakfast, you'll trek to Shira Camp (3,845 m), where stunning views of the Shira Plateau await as you exit the rainforest. While the trek is manageable, pay attention to altitude effects and maintain a steady pace. Upon reaching Shira Camp, enjoy lunch and some rest before embarking on an acclimatization hike toward Lava Tower Camp, gaining 300 meters in altitude. After returning, you'll be served a hot dinner at Shira Camp

  • Day 4 - Trekking From Shira Camp To The Lava Tower and Descent To Barranco Camp

    After breakfast, you'll leave Shira Camp (3,845 m) and head toward Lava Tower (4,630 m), a key point on your route. This section features multiple ascents and descents, culminating in a camp above 4,600 meters. While it may be challenging and uncomfortable, it's essential to spend 1–2 hours at this altitude for proper acclimatization, so lunch will be taken here. Afterward, you'll descend to Barranco Camp (3,960 m), where the impressive Barranco Wall awaits, renowned for its massive size and steepness, but don't worry—the next day’s ascent will follow an easy hiking traill.

  • Day 5 - Trekking From Barranco Camp To Barafu Camp

    After an early breakfast, you'll start your climb of Barranco Wall, aiming to leave camp early to avoid crowds. This straightforward hike takes about an hour, offering photo opportunities in front of Kibo volcano. Next, you'll hike to Karanga Camp, which involves some challenging ascents and descents, but our guides will ensure a suitable pace. Upon arrival, enjoy a warm lunch before ascending to Barafu Camp (4,640 m), where a hot dinner awaits. It's essential to rest and prepare for the night summit

  • Day 6 - Ascent to Uhuru Peak and Descent to Millennium Camp

    Departure from Barafu Camp (4,640 m) at night and the start of summiting Kilimanjaro: Uhuru Peak (5,895 m). Technically the climb is relatively simple; however, the most challenging part is the high altitude. Each pair of climbers will get a personal guide for the entire ascent to monitor your physical and mental conditions. After your successful ascent to Uhuru Peak, you can descend to the nearest glacier if desired. Then you will return to Barafu Camp and after a 2-hour rest continue your descent to Millennium Camp (3,820 m).

  • Day 7 - Descent from Millennium Camp to Mweka Gate

    Waking up in the tropical rainforest, you'll feel relieved and satisfied after reaching the summit. After a warm breakfast, you’ll head to Mweka Gate (1,640 m) to exit the park. The group will gather to celebrate your achievement, followed by the opportunity to share your thoughts in the guestbook. Finally, you'll receive your commemorative certificate in our office before a transfer back to the hotel
