Day by Day

  • Arrival

  • Day 1 - Arrival in Arusha

    You will be picked up from the airport by our representative and conveyed to your accommodation in Arusha where you will overnight, relax, and prepare in anticipation of the adventures to come.

  • Day 2 - Tarangire National Park

    In the morning, our safari guide will pick you up from your Arusha lodgings and take you to Tarangire National Park. As we travel through Maasai plains, you’ll see colorful Maasai walking, riding bicycles, and herding cattle. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds and diverse wildlife. From our open-roof jeep, we’ll search for zebras, wildebeests, buffalo, and giraffes. With luck, you may spot lions stalking prey or leopards resting in trees. After our game drive, we’ll enjoy dinner at a mid-range lodge and relax in a spacious room

  • Day 3 - Serengeti National Park

    After breakfast, we’ll journey to the fertile highlands where the Iraqw people grow wheat and coffee. Passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoy stunning views of the Ngorongoro Crater. By midday, we’ll reach Serengeti National Park, covering 15,000 square kilometers of diverse landscapes. Here, you may witness the great migration of wildebeest and zebras. After an extensive game drive, we’ll head to the Seronera Valley for dinner. Our overnight stay will be at Serengeti Heritage Tented Camp with renovated tents and a cozy dining area. e..

  • Day 4 - Serengeti National Park

    This day is dedicated to game drives in the Serengeti, home to diverse wildlife like impalas, buffalo, and crocodiles. It’s best known for its migrating herds of zebras, antelopes, and wildebeests. Their migration varies yearly based on rainfall; in November and December, they move south from the northern woodlands and return north during the longer rainy season from April to June. Alongside the migrating herds, we may spot resident predators like leopards, cheetahs, and lions. After an unforgettable day, we’ll return to Serengeti Heritage Tented Camp for dinner.   • Day 5 - Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area via Maasai Village & Walking on the Rim of the Crater

    After an early breakfast, we’ll set out for another game drive in the Serengeti, where we may spot the “Big Five”—lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard. On our way to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, we’ll pass a Maasai village, offering a unique chance to learn about traditional practices like fire-making and beadwork. You might even meet villagers in their homes, with your guide interpreting if needed. This activity lasts about an hour before we drive to the crater rim for a sunset walking safari with an armed ranger. During this safari, you’ll explore extinct volcanoes and stunning landscapes. After approximately 2 to 2.5 hours, we’ll head to our accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay..

  • Day 6 - Ngorongoro Crater to Karatu

    Early risers are rewarded with stunning views of the sunrise over the crater’s edge. After a hearty breakfast, we’ll descend into this UNESCO World Heritage site, which formed around three million years ago and is 610 meters deep. Covering approximately 260 square kilometers, it hosts about 25,000 ungulates, offering the best game viewing in Tanzania. In minutes, we may see wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, elephants, and over 500 bird species. With a bit of luck, we might spot the endangered black rhino. After an extensive game drive and picnic lunch, we’ll head back to Karatu, staying at one of our selected mid-range partner lodges.

  • Day 7 - Lake Manyara to Arusha

    After breakfast, we’ll drive to our final destination: Lake Manyara National Park, located 120 km west of Arusha. This diverse park is named for the shallow salt lake that covers about 70% of its area. The lake, which floods and dries seasonally, hosts thousands of flamingos and over 500 other bird species. While exploring, we may spot monkeys, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalo, elephants, and possibly lions lounging in the trees. Known for its varied landscapes, the park features open grassy plains, primate-filled woodlands, and baobab-dotted cliffs. After another memorable game drive, we’ll return to Arusha in the late afternoon, filled with unforgettable images of the African wilderness...
