In the morning, our personal safari guide will pick you up from your Arusha lodgings. We’ll set off for Tarangire National Park, traveling across gently rolling Maasai plains dotted with acacia trees. Along the way, we’ll see Maasai people in colorful attire walking, riding bicycles, herding cattle, and guiding donkey carts. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds and a variety of other wildlife. From the open roof of our safari jeep, we’ll explore swamps, savanna, and the Tarangire River, spotting zebras, wildebeests, buffalos, and more. After an exciting game drive, we’ll enjoy dinner and relax in a spacious room at one of our mid-range partner lodges

After a hearty breakfast, we depart from Karatu and head into the stunning Ngorongoro Conservation Area, crossing the picturesque Ngorongoro Highlands to reach the Ndutu Area. This remarkable region, located between the Serengeti and Ngorongoro, is a key site for the Great Migration from December to April.
The day’s game drive begins with a focus on the herds of wildebeests and zebras that gather near Lake Ndutu, drawn by abundant fresh grazing. Alongside these massive herds, predators such as lions and cheetahs lie in wait, creating thrilling wildlife encounters. From January onwards, the calving season begins, offering the unforgettable sight of young wildebeests taking their first steps amidst this incredible migration spectacle.

This volcanic caldera, formed millions of years ago by the eruption of a massive volcano, is 610 meters deep and spans approximately 304 square kilometers. Home to around 25,000 ungulates, it boasts one of the densest wildlife populations in Africa. After arriving at the crater rim, settle into your accommodation for dinner and a restful overnight stay, surrounded by the stunning views of this natural wonder.

After breakfast, we will descend inside Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive with a picnic lunch. Ngorongoro Crater is a must-see while on safari in Tanzania for its high density of wild animals. We will be able to see wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, elephant, and perhaps if we are lucky, black rhino through the grass. In the afternoon, we will drive back to Arusha.
