The 5-day Mt. Meru trek offers an exciting and scenic climb to the summit of Tanzania’s second-highest mountain, standing at 4,562 meters. Located in Arusha National Park, Mt. Meru provides breathtaking views, diverse wildlife, and a rewarding trekking experience. This trek is also ideal for acclimatization before attempting Mount Kilimanjaro.
You will be picked up from the airport by our representative and conveyed to your accommodation in Arusha where you will overnight, relax, and prepare in anticipation of the adventures to come.

Begin your trek through lush rainforests, where you may spot giraffes, buffaloes, and other wildlife. The trail offers scenic views of the park and Mount Meru’s slopes. Overnight at Miriakamba Hut.

Ascend through the forest and moorland zones, passing giant heather and unique plants. Upon reaching Saddle Hut, enjoy stunning views and an optional short hike to Little Meru for acclimatization.
