āž” You'll be collected from the airport.
āž” Accommodation before the tour starts can be arranged for an extra cost.

  • Day 1 - Arrival in Arusha

You've been dreaming of your Tanzanian safari for so long and the day when it begins has finally arrived. We'll greet you, give you a quick rundown on what happens next and answer your questions. Then we'll take you out to discover what this incredible country has to offer.

Busy Arusha is an essential part of safari life here in northern Tanzania and most travelers pass through at some stage. Whether you’re on your way out on safari or here for a little longer, you’ll catch a glimpse of streets filled with energy and color.

    āž” Main Destination: Arusha (City)
    āž” Accommodation: Gran Melia Arusha
āž” Meals & Drinks: Meals at your own expense.  Drinks not included.

  • Day 2 - Tarangire National Park

Explore one of Tanzania’s most rewarding national parks, a land of big baobab trees, big elephants and big cats. No wonder this ends up being the favorite park in Tanzania for many visitors. Sightings of wildebeest, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes, baboons, vervet monkeys and zebras are also almost guaranteed. Lions are plentiful here – Tarangire is home to one of Tanzania’s healthiest lion populations. While you’ll have to work a little harder to see a cheetah or leopard, it will only enhance your excitement when you do. You can also look forward to classic safari scenery – savannah plains, river woodlands and rocky hills.

āž” Main Destination: Tarangire National Park
    āž” Accommodation:  Marera Valley Lodge
āž” Meals & Drinks:  All meals included. All drinks (Except for spirits/liquor).

  • Day 3 - 4 Serengeti National Park

When people dream of the Serengeti, it's probably the Central Serengeti they're dreaming of. That's because you're in the perfect place to see all that the Serengeti has to offer, and this is the area of the park where wildlife is present in the biggest numbers. It's also filled with acacia trees and those Serengeti horizons that seem to go on forever.

    Activity Day 3
āž”You'll be heading down more safari trails in search of animals in Central Serengeti National Park when we take you on a guided game drive. This is the best thing about many safaris, and you'll hopefully see many animals.

    Activities Day 4
āž”Come and see the best of Central Serengeti National Park as we take you out on a guided game drive. It really is a terrific way to feel a part of Africa with the wind in your hair as we drive you around to look for animals.

    Afternoon
āž” We'll take you to enjoy the sunset and a sundowner at one of our favorite places in Central Serengeti National Park.

āž” Main Destination: Serengeti National Park
    āž” Accommodation:  Lahia Tented Lodge
āž” Meals & Drinks:  All meals included. All drinks (Except for spirits/liquor).

  • Day 5 - Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro is a special place and the first time that you descend onto the crater floor is like no other safari experience in Africa. This is a world unto itself, one where you’ll encounter the crater’s 600-strong population of hyenas, as well as critically endangered black rhinos. You’ll also find elephants with larger-than-average tusks, and more than 50 lions living in the crater. But it’s the sheer beauty of Ngorongoro that will most likely live longest in your memory. From early morning, mist rises from the crater, revealing steep, forested walls, secret waterways where hippos wallow, and a world of abundant wildlife hidden away from the rest of the world.

    Walking safari, Ngorongoro Highlands
You'll never get tired of going on a walking safari, where you'll leave behind the vehicle and step out into the wild. It can be a little nerve-wracking at first, but you'll be walking with an experienced guide and it's very safe. It can be a real thrill walking in this way, and most people fall in love with the experience.

āž” Main Destination: Ngorongoro Crater Park
āž” Accommodation: Farm House Valley Lodge
āž” Meals & Drinks:  All meals included. All drinks (Except for spirits/liquor).

  • Day 6 - Lake Manyara National Park

Strung out in the shadow of the Rift Valley escarpment, that great fracture in the earth’s surface that divides Africa in two, Lake Manyara is one of Tanzania’s more unusual parks. Here you’ll certainly see the elephants for which the park is famous, and, if you’re really lucky, one of the park’s equally wellknown tree-climbing lions. There’s also a lake filled with wading birds, plenty of olive baboons, and dense forests that make you feel that exciting animals could emerge from the trees at any moment. It’s a wonderful chance to mark the transition between the lower plains and the Crater Highlands (with Ngorongoro Crater) away to the west.

āž” Main Destination: Lake Manyara National Park
    āž” Accommodation: Burunge Lodge
āž” Meals & Drinks:  All meals included. All drinks (Except for spirits/liquor).

  • Day 7 & 8 Zanzibar Island

Utterly unlike anywhere else in Tanzania, Zanzibar Island is a fascinating place to explore. Beautiful beaches and scenery are part of the appeal here, but the architecture and atmosphere in Stone Town and elsewhere are highlights. Stunning buildings and markets that carry strong echoes of the spice trade make for a memorable stay.

    Activity Day 7
āž”We will transfer you to the airport. Transfer time: about 30 minutes
āž” Transfer by Air, Arusha to Zanzibar Island Transfer time: about 90 minutes
āž” Relax and generally take it easy to allow yourself to both process and recover from all of the excitement that you’ve enjoyed on your safari so far.

    Activity Day 8
āž”Explore Zanzibar's Stone Town on a city tour. You'll learn the history of this remarkable place as you pass between the superb buildings and enjoy the smells emerging from the spice warehouses.
āž”Half Day Tour, Changuu (Prison) Island

Zanzibar Stone Town (Day 8 )
Enjoy the architecture, spice smells, museums, Muslim call to prayer and powerful sense of history in Stone Town.

āž” Meals & Drinks: All meals included

  • Day 9 &10 Nungwi

Visitors love Nungwi, which has one of the most beautiful beaches on Zanzibar Island. Nungwi is also a top spot from which to watch the sunset. This was a major boat-building center where they once made the traditional wooden sailing boats called dhows. You can learn about turtle conservation while you're here.

    Jozani Forest (Day 9)
Go looking for birds (over 40 species) and the Zanzibar red colobus monkey

Activity Day 9 āž”Half Day Tour, Jozani Forest

7 Day Safari – Trip of a Lifetime I did a 7 day safari with Shiri Adventures and it was incredible. Full disclosure, I did get mine severely discounted as we worked together on content creation/promotion, but I can honestly say I would have absolutely paid full price to do it.Our guide Laurent was amazing. Linus, the Managing Director, is a godsend and helped us with some issues that popped up right before we left as well as answering every little question we had along the way. This trip was the time of our lives (me and my husband went for our honeymoon). I couldn’t recommend it enough, and I found Shiri to be very reasonable in cost compared to many other safaris at this level. And we saw the big 5! I’m telling you, our guide had supervision. 10/10 would recommend Shiri Adventures.

BEST Guide Company In Tanzania Linus and his crew were all over the tiny details that made each excursion we want on amazing. Did the 3-day safari, Materuni Falls & coffee tour, and visited the Chemka hot springs. Everything was well planned out and communication from Linus was impeccable. 6 day Marangu Route Kilimanjaro Absolutely wonderful from start to finish! My friends and climbed Mount Kilimanjaro via the Marangu route with Shiri Adventures, and Linus and his staff delivered an amazing experience. There were 4 of us in our group and we all had limited hiking experience, but we all made it to the summit with the help of our amazing guides Yaki and Bryson, along with the porters. After we finished, they had beers, champagne and a bus waiting for us at the gate. I have traveled quit a bit and I can say I’ve never had a better experience anywhere. If I ever go back to Tanzania I will hire Linus and Shiri Adventures to handle it. I wish I could do more than write a review. I highly highly highly recommend using Linus and Shiri Adventures for your Kilimanjaro trek or safari. Thanks again to Linus, Yaki, Bryson and everyone else, you made our trip happen and delivered a once in a lifetime experience!!

Best Safari! Me and my wife spend our honeymoon on safari (Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire and Manyara) with Shiri Adventures and I can say that it was the best experience! We didn’t have a single complaint. From communication with mr. Linus, who responded quickly to all our questions and concerns (via WhatsApp or email), to the entire organization of Safari, transfers to airport, luxury lodges in national parks… Also, on our safari jeep they put our wedding photo – nice personal touch :)Our guide (mr. Ibra) was an exceptional at finding animals that we could see from a distance of only a few meters! He taught us about animals, their behavior and the habitats they live in, about the natives Maasai (which we also visited), about land Africa and Tanzania… Really experienced guide! We would recommend Shiri Adventures 10/10. These guys are on another level! šŸ™‚
